Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of First Touch, a tool for organizing college recruiting outreach. By creating an account, you agree to these terms. If you are under the age of majority where you live, a parent or guardian should review and agree to these terms on your behalf.

First Touch helps you draft, track, and send recruiting emails from your own Gmail account, and organize the schools you're targeting. We do not guarantee any outcome — a reply, a roster spot, an offer, or admission — from any coach or school. Recruiting decisions are made entirely by colleges and their coaching staff.

• You're responsible for the accuracy of the profile information you enter and the emails you approve and send.
• Your account is for your own recruiting — don't create one on someone else's behalf without their (or their guardian's) permission.
• You're responsible for anything sent from your connected Gmail account through First Touch.
• You're responsible for following your sport's recruiting rules (e.g. NCAA/NAIA contact-period restrictions) — First Touch is a communication tool, not a compliance service, and doesn't know what rules apply to your specific recruiting class or division.

If you create or administer an organization (a club/school team or an independent consulting practice):

• You may only invite people you actually coach or advise.
• You can see each member athlete's targeted schools and outreach status — not their full profile, contact details, or email content.
• Film, schedules, and camp details you share are visible to every athlete in your organization — don't post anything you wouldn't want all of them to see.
• Comments you leave on an athlete's film are visible to that athlete.

If a college coach asks not to be contacted again, we add them to a do-not-email list that applies across every First Touch user — they will not be emailed again through this platform by anyone. This is not negotiable and can't be turned off.

You own the email text, profile details, and film links you provide. You give us permission to store, process, and transmit them as needed to run the service — including sending select details to Anthropic's API to help personalize your emails, as described in our Privacy Policy.

Don't use First Touch to:

• Send spam, harassment, or misleading information to coaches or anyone else.
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your recruiting profile.
• Attempt to access another user's account or another organization's data.
• Interfere with or abuse the service, including its automated sending and reply-tracking systems.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

First Touch is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. We don't warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any email will be delivered, opened, or answered. To the fullest extent permitted by law, First Touch is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including missed recruiting opportunities.

We may update these terms as the product changes. We'll update the date at the top of this page when we do; continuing to use First Touch after a change means you accept the updated terms.
